Dr. Jabina Ramde O.D.

Dr. Jabina Ramde received B.S. degree in Biology from the UCLA. Her desire to find a career that provide good, compassionate health care led her to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. She has received certification in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases. She completed her externship programs at the Livermore VA Hospital, Oakland VA Hospital, and Omni Eye Specialists in Baltimore, MD. She has valuable experience in the area of refractive surgery after working at Advance Eye Medical Group in Mission Viejo, CA. She enjoys working with patients that have had difficulty being fitted with contact lenses (astigmatism, bifocal lenses).

Dr. Ramde started her practice at Eye Lite Optometry in Los Altos in 1999. She has a special interest in bringing eye care to underprivileged children. She works with the local Los Altos Mountain View school districts, and the PTA to provide free eye examination and eyeglasses for kids.

Dr. Ramde was born and spent the earlier part of childhood in Kathmandu, Nepal. She has a special connection to that part of the world which suffers from poor health care. By collaborating with eyecare providers in Nepal, Dr. Ramde has donated eyeglasses to adults and children in this region over the years.

Dr. Ramde is also a busy mom of three daughters and enjoys volunteering at their elementary school. She enjoys reading and traveling on her free time.

Dr. Andrea Dong, O.D.

Dr. Andrea Dong grew up in Southern California and recently moved to Northern California with her husband. She graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Psychobiology and obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. She completed internships at West Los Angeles Veteran's Hospital, Lawton Indian Hospital, and the Naval Medical Center of San Diego. Since 2007, she has been working with Dr. Jabina Ramde. She practices full scope optometry including ocular disease and contact lenses with emphasis on quality patient care. She speaks Cantonese, and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Vanessa Pineda, O.D.

Dr. Vanessa Pineda is a native of California and grew up in the East Bay Area. She graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology. Dr. Pineda received her Optometry degree in 2006 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She completed additional post-graduate work in Primary Care and Vision Rehabilitation at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Palo Alto. She is a member of the California and American Optometric Associations as well as the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. She has been working with Eye Lite since March 2007.

Maria Gutierrez: Office Manager, Patient Relations

Maria has worked at Eye Lite Optometry for 8 years. Patients enjoy her cheerful and easy nature. Her knowledge on frame styles and lens choices has earned her patients' trust.

Maria is a proud mother of two children.

Sylvia Murillo: Frame Stylist

Sylvia has been at Eye Lite Optometry since summer of 2008. She brings lot of experience and expertise having managed Lenscrafter, Inc. in San Jose. She is a caring and knowledgeable person. She enjoys reading and photography. We are very glad to have her in our team.
